Saying I have been a fan of E Jade Lomax for the better part of a decade sounds extremely strange when I read it, but this episode solidified for me that Lomax really has been this good the WHOLE DANG TIME. They originally wrote this retelling of The Little Mermaid in 2014, and that was one of the first works of theirs I read. The story's sense of triumph and bliss is so heartwarming, and in this refined version, I had to stop everything I was doing to sit still and listen. Amazing work to Ishani for the delivery, Aysha Farah for co-creating, and to the sound designers on this episode for creating an extremely immersive soundscape
